Emmalyn Ramirez

Managing Attorney

Emmalyn is a Managing Attorney at GIA where she partners with companies in U.S. business immigration matters and compliance. She helps clients strategize on challenging Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Revoke, Notices of Intent to Deny, appeals and PERM audits. Emmalyn has extensive experience with complex and routine non-immigrant and immigrant cases including H, L, TN, E, O, EB-1, PERM and AOS.

She has represented various clients from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in a wide range of industries including manufacturing, hospitality, research, finance, IT, energy, industrial distribution, mass media, contract research organization and health insurance. 

Prior to joining GIA, Emmalyn worked for immigration firms in Raleigh, NC and New York City, where she managed a team of junior associates and paralegals. She also represented individuals in academic and training visas such as F-1, H-3 and J-1. 

When she is not in the office, Emmalyn enjoys gardening and going for walks with her dog.
