Louis is a Partner at Global Immigration Associates where he provides counsel to employers of all sizes across a wide range of industries in obtaining nonimmigrant and immigrant benefits for foreign national personnel. He is experienced in leading compliance projects and due diligence initiatives related to corporate structure changes, such as mergers, acquisitions, downsizings, reductions in force, and creation of successor-in-interest entities.
Louis routinely prepares and delivers training presentations to a wide range of audiences, including human resources leadership, recruitment professionals and visa beneficiaries.
Prior to joining GIA, Louis practiced immigration law at a boutique firm in North Carolina where he provided counsel to employers, families, and individuals.
Outside of the office, Louis enjoys traveling, reading, and playing golf. He is also a native Spanish speaker and is proficient in French.
