Rita is a Managing Attorney at Global Immigration Associates, where practice focuses on nonimmigrant visa categories, including H-1B and L-1 visas. She also has experience in immigrant visa processing, such as EB-1 immigrant petitions and adjustment of status. Rita works particularly with clients in the technology industry.
Prior to joining GIA, Rita worked at Ogletree Deakins, where she focused on assisting clients in obtaining nonimmigrant visas for employees in a variety of roles, as well as providing guidance on the best pathway to adjustment of status. She has also served as a judicial law clerk for the US Department of Justice at the Eloy Immigration Court where she researched legal issues in removal proceedings and drafted bond decisions and removal proceeding opinions.
When she isn’t at the office, Rita enjoys playing and watching sports, reading and drinking espresso.
