Vanessa is an Associate at Global Immigration Associates. Her practice focuses on H-1B petitions and employment-based adjustment of status. She also has experience with student visas and Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Vanessa works with clients in several industries, including financial, technological, non-profit and transportation.
Prior to joining GIA, Vanessa worked as an immigration attorney at a New York-based boutique law firm, where she focused on family-based immigration. She also volunteered for a non-profit immigration law firm, where she assisted low-income immigrants with family reunification, humanitarian remedies and waivers.
When she isn’t at the office, Vanessa enjoys running, traveling with her family and playing with her puppy, Rio. She also loves sports and is a fan of the Brazilian soccer team.
