Waleed is a Junior Associate with Global Immigration Associates. His practice focuses on employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions, and he has experience handling USCIS Requests for Evidence and appeals. Waleed works with clients in several industries, including automotive, insurance and technology.
Prior to joining GIA, Waleed worked as an immigration research fellow at a Dallas-based nonprofit, where he focused on immigration and civil rights litigation.
While in law school, Waleed gained a broad perspective of the U.S. immigration system while interning at a private law firm, government agencies, and an overseas nonprofit organization. He is also fluent in Arabic.
When he isn’t at the office, Waleed enjoys exploring Chicago with his wife, fishing, restoring early-model vehicles and taking care of his pet fish.
